Career Coaching Services

Career Coaching

As a career coach I offer ongoing support, provide career and strengths assessments, and use effective methods so that you can find work that:
  • Matches your talents and abilities
  • Provides a sense of meaning and purpose in your life
  • Is done in the kind of environment that suits you best
  • Fits your personality and temperament

We’ll work to develop skills, stay true to your values, set goals, hold a vision, make use of your education or find opportunities for further education to develop the best career for you.

We’ll use assessments, writing, mindfulness, and other methods to help you do the kind of work that aligns with your strengths, talents, and values.

Whether you are an artist, a young adult looking for your first job, a professional in mid-career and desire to make a change, or a mature individual ready to retire from one line of work but still want to pursue other options, coaching can help you get calmer, stay focused, and fulfill your potential.

Here are some of the ways I can help you move forward into work that is meaningful, personal, and practical

*You’ll learn mindfulness and focusing skills to tap into your intuition.

*You’ll keep a notebook, explore ideas, set goals, and start to craft the kind of resumes or other materials you need.

*You’ll construct your future block by block, piece by piece.

*You’ll learn how to make the best use of your natural talents and personality.

*You’ll discover what workplace environment will support your best efforts.

*You’ll decide how important it is to do something that personally matters to you, and what specifically that would be.

*You’ll be in charge of which risks you are willing to take to achieve your goals.

Change doesn’t happen overnight. But by taking the first step and committing to your own future, many more options may open up for you.

In my book Outer Beauty, Inner Joy, I write about the Renaissance and the philosophers of ancient Greece and other cultures who believed in a divine, interconnected universe. Each person was said to be a microcosm of this universe, born with a guiding spirit, talent, or source of inspiration—a destiny that we are here to fulfill.

I will help you discover methods to connect with your creative spirit, courage to follow its call, and tools to find the way to make the creative spirit an intrinsic part of day-to-day experience, so that you can bring your gifts to the world.
