Getting Started with Coaching

Get started with ADD Mindfulness Coaching by calling or emailing me so we can schedule a time to chat. We can get to know each other and see if coaching with me would be helpful for you. Following is some information on how coaching works. I will be happy to answer all of your questions when we speak.

Where does coaching take place?

Most coaching is done by telephone or skype. (If you live in the New York City area, it may be possible to meet in person.)

How long will coaching take?

Everyone is different, and the answer depends on your wants and needs. It is helpful to have regular sessions either once a week, or at least two or three times per month. Whatever your needs are, we can work with them.

As I get to know you better, I can determine what to recommend. But effective coaching usually unfolds over a period of time, since making a commitment and establishing a certain pace works best. A minimum of 3-6 months is often a good time frame. High school and college students may want to continue coaching throughout the academic year. Graduate students may want coaching to reach specific goals, such as completing a thesis or dissertation.
